Overview of the Publication Process

Upon acceptance of the paper, authors will be contacted by the production team of the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management. The manuscript will be processed through editing and scrutinized for any missing elements or disparities. Authors will be contacted by the production team and asked to supply the missing information in their paper. This will be the final stage for authors to send amendments to the manuscript. Upon finalization of the edited files, the files will be processed through typesetting to generate first proofs. Authors will receive the first proofs of their article to resolve any pending queries. Authors are advised not to send any corrections at the proofs stage and are requested to co-operate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely publication of the journal issues.

Articles once Accepted for Publishing by International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management’s Review Panel, could not be withdrawn after that; however, provisions could be provided based on the decision of Editor-in-Chief.

Publication Process Summary
The ultimate objectives of these process are for quality control. Full process will be completed expected within 30 Days. The publication process is consisting of the following steps.
Step 1:     After receiving the manuscript, we will send a submission of acknowledgment e-mail to the author with a unique identity.  Kindly not if the author did not receive acknowledgment means, we did not receive your manuscript. Kindly resend your manuscript or contact in the alternate email id. Expected time to complete this step is one day.

Step 2:   Plagiarism Checker software will check the similarity. Maximum allowed similarity index 15% due to common terms. If the manuscript failed the criteria, we send back to the author along with the plagiarism report and ask to rectify those issues and request for re-submission. Expected time to complete this step is two days.
Step 3:    The Editor-in-Chief may assign to one of the editorial board members related to the concerned field will check primary quality, Author identity not sends to the editor. The editor received the only manuscript without author(s) information along with plagiarism report. Expected time to complete this step is four days.
Step 4:     The manuscript will be sent to double-blinded review and reviewer is selected by the editor. Expected time to complete this step is four days.
Step 5:     Based on the double-blinded review results Editor will take a decision and communicated to the Editor-in-Chief. Decisions can be three types like (1) Accepted without revision, (2) Resubmit with major/minor revisions, (3) Rejected. A reminder emails may be sent to the reviewer after seven days to the reviewer by the editor. Expected time to complete this step is fourteen days.
Step 6: The review result informs to the corresponding author along with possible correction. Expected time to complete this step is three days.
Step 7.A:  In the case of “(1) Accepted without revision,” decisions the Editor-in-Chief send the corresponding author(s)  final proof. Expected time two days. Author(s) have to submit corrected proof, where all changes required to mark red color along with a separate word file mentioning all changes to the Editor-in-chief (editorijoaem@gmail.com).
Step 7.B:  In the case of “(2) Resubmit with major/minor revisions,” author(s) are requested to modify as per guideline of the reviewers. Three months time is given to the author. If one failed then, they have to go through step 1. After rectification, those errors author resubmit the paper by mentioning  Paper ID in the subject line. Author(s) have to submit corrected manuscript where all changes required to mark red color along with a separate word file mentioning all changes to the Editor-in-chief (ijoaem@gmail.com).
Step 8.A:  After receiving the corrected manuscript for Case (7.A) paper upload in the wave which is included in next issue and forwards to different indexing service. Expected time to complete this step is two days.
Step 8.B:  After receiving the corrected manuscript for Case (7.B) by the Editor-in-Chief, paper sends back to the assigning editor for further review by the same reviewer(s) process start as Step 5. Expected time to complete this step is two days.

Expected Total Time:  1 Day (Step 1) + 2 Days (Step 2) +  4 Days (Step 3) + 4 Days (Step 4) + 14 Days (Step 5) + 3 Days (Step 6) + 2 Days (Step 8) = 30 days. Actual time may be less or more due to various unavoidable circumstances.

Blind process (1): The reviewer(s) and author(s) is/are unknown to each other.
Blind process (2): The Editor-in-chief and the reviewer(s) is/are unknown to each other.

Peer review process: Comments and review decisions pass to each step without disclosing any identity.
Invited paper and editorial board member paper must pass the plagiarism criteria.

We accept only those manuscripts which are recommended by the reviewers.
Outlined below are the mandatory criteria for any article to be considered for publication in the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management. Failure to adhere to these criteria will result in rejection of the article by the editorial team.

Criteria for Publication

Article adheres to the manuscript preparation guidelines explained below

  1. Article should be in Microsoft Word format only
  2. Each article should be accompanied with a cover letter. The covering letter should be written by the corresponding author indicating how the manuscript is suitable for publication in the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management. All authors names are to be included in the letter.
  3. Articles should be written in single column format, using Times New Roman font, 10 point font size. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible.
  4. Equations and formula should be readable and written using Insert Equation of MS Word.
  5. All figures provided are of high resolution, preferably 300dpi.
  6. References should follow the MS Word referencing style. For details procedure
  7. We reserve the right to refuse or reject any manuscript, if plagiarized article is detected or if an article(s) has been reproduced from another publication including conference proceedings, etc.
  8.  We reserve the right to refuse or reject any manuscript if any figures or tables that have been previously copyrighted unless the written permission from the copyright holder.
  9. We reserve the right to withdraw any published article, if plagiarized article is detected or if an article(s) has been reproduced from another publication including conference proceedings, etc. before the publication date of that paper/ papers in the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management.
  10. We support open access. Open Access Charge Rs 1000.00 for Indian Authors and 20USD other country including DOI charge.
  11. Up to 40% Open access charge may wave for the needy person after recommendation by the email of the Institutional Head official email address.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Articles submitted to the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management should conform to the guidelines indicated below. Before you submit, please study the author checklist provided at the end of this document.

Electronic Formats
Authors are requested to send their articles in MS Word (.doc) format mail to editorijoaem@gmail.com or ijoaem@gmail.com. In the case of any difficulty with the manuscript submission process or concern regarding the suitability of your files, please contact us at editorijoaem@gmail.com or editor@ijoaem.com.

Following is the chronological order of topics to be included in the article:

Article Title

The title should be concise and specific to the topic of the article Avoid using abbreviations in the title. Titles should be presented in title case, meaning that all words except for prepositions, articles, and conjunctions should be capitalized.

Author names & Affiliations
Provide first names or initials (if used), middle names or initials (if used), and surnames for all authors. Affiliation details should include—department, university or organization, city, state, and country for all authors at the appropriate place to ensure double-blind peer review process. One of the authors should be designated as the corresponding author and must indicate by an asterisk (*) marks against his/her name. Email address of all author should be provided in the article. It is the corresponding author’s responsibility to ensure that the author list and the summary of the author contributions to the study are accurate and complete.

Abstract

The abstract introduces the article and should not exceed 300 words and not less than 100 words. Please do not include any citations in the abstract and avoid using abbreviations except well-known terms. It should mention the techniques used without going into methodological detail and should summarize the most important results.

Keywords

Authors should provide 4-6 keywords for indexing purposes. Keywords should be written in title case and each in a single line. Avoid general and plural terms and multiple concepts together.

Abbreviations
All abbreviations should be defined on first use in the text along with the abbreviation in parenthesis. E.g. Portable Document Format (PDF).

Units and Symbols
Symbols should be used while referring to alpha, beta, mu, etc (Ex: α, β, µ, etc). All units to follow the International System of Units (SI units).
Figures Format & Resolution
Authors are requested to supply high-resolution versions of the figures in TIFF, JPEG or EPS format. We require that figures be created at a minimum resolution of 300ppi. Figures, with figure captions, may be embedded within the manuscript to assist the reviewers. Also, please submit separate figure source files. The file sizes should not exceed 20 MB.The naming of figure files should be simple indicating the serial number and last name of authors. Figures should be submitted with the article in order. E.g. Figure 1 should be uploaded first followed by Figure 2, 3 and so on. All figures must be cited in the text and authors should indicate where they are to be inserted in the text. E.g. . For Figure captions have to be included in the text and provided sequentially at the end of the article. The captions should be short having 10-15 words in sentence case style. E.g. Figure 1. Block diagram of the proposed method. Author (s) should obtain permission from authors for copyright figures and tables before submitting to the International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management.

Tables Format
All tables should have a concise title and written as Table 1: Title of the table. Tables with table captions may be embedded within the manuscript to assist the reviewers.Tables should be included in the text file at the end of the article. Footnotes can be used to explain abbreviations. Tables extending beyond 1 page should be avoided.

Acknowledgments (If any)

People who contributed to the work but do not fit the criteria for authors should be listed in the Acknowledgments, along with their contributions. Authors are requested to ensure that anyone named in the Acknowledgments agrees to be so named.
References
References should follow the MS Word referencing style.Only published or accepted manuscripts should be included in the reference list. Meetings, abstracts, conference talks, or papers that have been submitted but not yet accepted should not be cited. References cited in the text should conform to the MS word style. Reference List should only contain references to those works which you have cited in your text. It should appear at the end of your text. It should be arranged numerically by citation number.
