Abstract

In line with addressing current global competitiveness, areas such as sustaining a competitive edge, enhancing economic performance and development, contribution to national economy and innovation are a significant component for organizations. In order to be successful in global competition, organizations have to develop new products and ideas as well as to establish innovative strategies and to manage them in a proper manner. The aims is to lay out the synopsis for the study of innovation and the potential effects on competitive advantage among Iranian small and medium-sized enterprises. The population in this study was Iranian SMEs, in which the sample has been drawn from.  This research is based on 126 Iranian SMEs as participants. Also, this study has used SPSS for analysis.
